Robert Ivy before joining AIA, he was the Editorial Director and Vice President of McGraw Hill Construction. He diligently served the firm until he moved to Architectural Record. At Architectural Record Robert served as the Editor in chief, and he offered great editorial expertise which helped the firm receive significant awards. Under his leadership, Architectural Record was able to print 16 and 17 digital publications. Robert has also received personal awards like G.D. Crain Award for his excellent work.
Robert is a speaker, and he has delivered many speeches in the U.S. which mainly involve architecture profession. At Venice Architecture Biennale, Robert has served as a commissioner for three times. His excellence can be traced back from his education as he attained his Master of Architecture from Tulane University. Before then, Robert had graduated in Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of the South. His editorial and architectural experience has made him very successful, and his main aim is to make architecture profession great and more advanced.
